More than 1,400 lessons across 300+ courses, spread over nine levels from CP to 3e — roughly ages 6 to 15 — each narrated by two different voices, so a child can settle on the one they like. The lessons are written in French, grounded in trusted educational sources and fact-checked against reputable references before they are recorded. Whispia says plainly that they are written by AI and checked, and shows the sources it consulted.

What's a token?
Tokens power AI story generation on Premium. A 5-minute story costs roughly 110–130 tokens, a voice sample is under 10. Free users don't need them — the free catalogue and the Sound Mixer don't consume any.
Why tokens?

What is Learn mode?
Learn mode is a second kind of Whispia story. Same calm, slow voice as our sleep stories — but instead of guiding you toward sleep, it gently unfolds a real subject: a piece of history, a bit of science, the natural world. You can name someone in your request — a friend, or a child with their age — to make them the explorer at the heart of the story, which makes it a lovely screen-free way for a child to discover a subject they love. Each Learn story is researched and fact-checked against real online sources and shows a Sources list you can tap. It's a Premium feature, available in English and French. Because it's AI-generated, it can still get a detail wrong — the sources are there so you can check.
Can children use Whispia?
Yes. Children listen through a learner profile a parent creates inside their own account — there is no login and no separate account for a child, and the profile holds only a first name, an age range and an avatar. Age ranges are broad bands (roughly 3–6, 6–10, 11–14, and adult) used to pitch the vocabulary of a lesson or a story. A device can also be set into a focused children's space that opens straight into the Learning menu, with a parental gate to leave it. The catalogue carries age-specific safety rules, including gentle content for the very young.
What languages do you support?
English and French. Originals are AI-authored in both languages and reviewed by humans before release. AI generations you create yourself work in either language.
Can I use Whispia without WiFi?
Yes. Downloaded stories and saved sound mixes play offline. Sync resumes when you reconnect.
How does pricing work?
Free includes Originals tagged "free", the Sound Mixer, Micro-Reset breathing, and mood tracking — no credits, no ads. Premium unlocks every Original and gives you a monthly token allowance for unlimited AI story generation, with rollover and a clear cost preview before each generation.
